A hard day today, as I was working in a very EMPTY building. Just a few hopeful visitors at the door, who I had to turn away. Such is life.......

Thank you EVERY ONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT; over the past 14 years as Antiques Bazaar; for your support since I moved my business - Crewkerne Furniture Emporium down here from East Street in 1989; and for those with very long memories, when we started 50 YEARS AGO as Doble's of Crewkerne in the little shop in South Street, opposite Crewkerne Police Station.

Huge memories, so many friends and acquaintances over the years, so many deals. It has been a pleasure to become part of the community here in Crewkerne, and I have enjoyed every minute!

Thank you all for your company these past 50 years.

A nice bit of English heritage which we have lifted down from the wall and is now for sale. A genuine "Hercules" ladies' cycle. Well the packing-up is well underway, and yes it IS sad to see traders leaving us after all these years! Antiques Bazaar traders - thank you for all your enthusiasm and support over the past 14 years. And what a busy day! At least 160 customers visited us today, with many, many last-minute purchases being made. From planters to designer clothes; from cake stands to a kiddies' pedal car; from garden pots and steel plant supports to LP's.
