Recent makes from the workroom - loving the addition of trims to the lampshade repertoire ✂️
To be honest I’d happily sit here all day making but things are getting very busy in the shop this time of year too. Autumn always feels a bit brief before fully-loading the shop for Christmas! I have just unpacked some lovely Autumn cushions ready for a quick window change for the rest of October - will post designs tomorrow 🍁🧡

This week in the workroom I’ve been perfecting adding trims (I won’t show you my first attempt it was a disaster! 😬) Anyway I’ve spent a bit of time working on the best way to secure these and I’m really happy with this fine specimen! Think the trims really elevate the whole thing 👌 (they are currently available in metallic finishes of silver, copper and gold 💛)
I’m in tomorrow working on orders - will have a quiet morning cracking on and then will open the shop in the afternoon. Happy Sunday night 😊

Afternoon 👋
In all day yesterday giving the place a clean and tidy up! A temporary refresh of the window while I finish making lampshades for the Proper autumn window display 🧡
I’ll be extending my hours here now that I am an empty nester (family first and all that 💕) I’ve also put the special 🎄cards out as I’m aiming to be more organised with stock this year 😉

Good Afternoon 👋

Last week of summer window here at - I’m currently working on some autumn coloured inspired lighting to freshen the window display up 🧡 I’m also tasking myself to post more regularly on the shop socials - I have badly neglected to do that. New focus going into the last quarter of the year!
Here at my workspace until 5ish today 😊

Afternoon 👋
A lot going on here lately! Back at the weekend from a lovely holiday with adult kids and this happy pooch 👉
And super proud and excited for my girl moving into her halls today for London College of Fashion 🩷 (Maybe not bring it up too much this week if you’re shopping with us 🥹🫣) As a consequence of the above I’m a tad behind One Home and Gifts so it’s still summer here!🌞 I’m looking to order more autumn stock this week and making plans for the shop going forward - this will be the last of the shorter weeks in the run up to you-know-what 😉
