Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope 2025 is off to a great start for you all 💫✨
It’s been a whirlwind few years since I first set up this account, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself. Last year, I turned 50 (where does the time go?!) and moved house four times 🏠 before finally settling in beautiful Anguilla 🇦🇮 My husband and I are renting a cozy two-bedroom home 🏡 here on this small island, where sourcing furniture, accessories, and materials is a real challenge due to the limited number of shops. But it’s taught me to think creatively ✨ and adapt in ways I’ve never had to before. Oh, and a mother cat and her two kittens 🐾 decided to adopt us along the way.
For those who don’t know, I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 but have lived and worked as an expat in Australia, Indonesia, Africa, and Dubai. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel to over 80 countries ✈️, and every new destination brings fresh inspiration for my designs 🧑🏻🎨
I have a first-class honors degree in interior design 🎓 and am proud to be a member—and committee member—of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). Alongside renovating homes for over 30 years, I’ve also tutored international students 🌏 through the National Design Academy, combining my passion for design with a love of sharing knowledge 🧑🏻🏫
Right now, I’m channeling Anguilla’s Rainbow City 🌈 vibes into my designs. It’s impossible not to feel inspired by the vibrant colors and energy here! 🌊🐠🌴
