Flowers for Susie I create lighting, homeware, prints & occasion cards with a mid-century modern aesthetic.

Flowers for Susie was originally established in 2014 after the untimely death of my mother Susie from Bile Duct cancer. I set it up to raise much needed funds for AMMF (the only Bile Duct charity in the UK) by designing & selling/raffling creative products. In April 2020 after a change in my career, I decided the time was right to develop flowers for Susie as my business. After a year of hard wor

k whilst homeschooling the kids, I now have a small range of cards, prints and home furnishings that I sell through markets & my Folksy shop. Charity is still and always will be a big part of my business and I continue to develop projects every year with the sole purpose of raising money for the AMMF and maybe other charities in the future.

A Maker I’m Proud To Own

Well I’ve actually chosen 3 as I couldn’t choose a favourite!

First up .
I’m so lucky to own a few of Keeley’s vases, some Christmas baubles and a set of her rings and I have to say they all bring me joy every single day. ❤️


My husband bought me the necklace from Rachel’s collection and I have to say I adore it. I wear it nearly every day and it works beautifully with dresses and t-shirts alike ❤️


I have a gorgeous snood my Anna which I bought in October 2024. Glorious colours, great quality, perfect size - I love it.

I’ll be honest, this is my ideal day but not my everyday!

In contrast my day today is…
>colour swatch adjustment as my printers have a new printer and of course it prints my palette a little differently 😩😤🙄.
>sending emails to potential wholesale clients
>getting my holiday flat ready for new guests (one of my other jobs to allow me to keep doing flowers for Susie)

So not all lovely sketches and printing 🥲.

MY INSPIRATION

I’m inspired by so many things and so many people but here are top 5.
Of course my lovely mum Susie features again❤️

Excuse the lack of fun audio but the sound of the birds and the sea need to be heard to absorb the full effect of the wonderfully inspiring place that I live.

Finally…I’ve started to feel creative. I think it’s the sunshine we’ve been having.

Mr squirrel is starting to take shape.

I’ve wanted to create a cute squirrel for a while as I often watch their antics in the wooded chine behind my studio and they really do make me smile.

Let’s see where he goes…
