I create lighting, homeware, prints & occasion cards with a mid-century modern aesthetic.

Flowers for Susie was originally established in 2014 after the untimely death of my mother Susie from Bile Duct cancer. I set it up to raise much needed funds for AMMF (the only Bile Duct charity in the UK) by designing & selling/raffling creative products. In April 2020 after a change in my career, I decided the time was right to develop flowers for Susie as my business. After a year of hard work whilst homeschooling the kids, I now have a small range of cards, prints and home furnishings that I sell through markets & my Folksy shop. Charity is still and always will be a big part of my business and I continue to develop projects every year with the sole purpose of raising money for the AMMF and maybe other charities in the future.

Trying to distract myself from the sad feelings I had yesterday after dropping my eldest at university. Stitched all my labels on my new tea towels. It’s amazing how productive you can be when trying to distract your mind. 🥰

Last Sunday, 30th August 2026, the 13th anniversary of saying goodbye to my mum Susie, I launched my 2026 creative charity fundraiser.

Mum & I loved a raffle when I was a child, often seen at summer fairs with arms full of prizes.
So, with 6 amazing prizes so far, this year is a good old fashioned raffle.
A massive Thank you to Keeley Traae - Designer, Henriettaparkknitwear, Claire Gent & The Illustrated World of Lisa Berkshire for their gorgeous prize donations, they all look amazing. In addition I’ve added 2 prizes from Charlotte Simmonds.

Raising money for 2 incredible charities Michael House and both are close to my heart and are small but mighty charities creating communities of support of support.
In a world that can often feel disconnected and fragmented community is so important and these 2 charities are creating just.

13 years today💔 it feels like a lifetime since I spoke to her, hugged her, laughed with her. 6 weeks after this photograph was taken we said goodbye to her one final time.
Always in our hearts and minds
She would be so proud of these boys and all they have achieved.
