Well my darling boy, today marks 6 months since you left us. Every day is hard without you. There is so much that has been taken away from you and that makes it so sad. A life well lived but you had so much more to give.

Life will never be the same without you. I will cherish this last photo taken of us together forever, it’s hard to believe that two weeks later you were gone.

Good afternoon everyone! I thought I would jump back on to say hello. After what I can only describe as the worst and saddest part of my life, I am back at work on a phased return basis. I know that my biggest supporter would be pushing me to do so and have a focus. Matthew was the one that encouraged me to follow my dreams and so I owe it to him to keep going. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to my trades who allowed me the time to grieve and kept my projects ticking over. Special thanks to Ivor Neville Joiners and Edenside Painters for who I am so thankful to have in my team. They have gone above and beyond to help me out. To my family and friends who have been amazing. I could not have got through the last four months without them. The support and friendship they have shown to me is something I will cherish forever. There are people who have reached out to me and proved that there is kindness in this world and I just want to say thank you to them for showing up too. Last but not least, to my lovely clients who have been so understanding and enabling me to take my time to get back to some normality. Anyway, this is a photo of us on Sanna Bay on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. We loved our Scottish holidays together. Xx

Happy Birthday my darling boy, it’s so hard to believe that we are never going to celebrate another one together. It wasn’t just the special birthdays we celebrated because you said that they were all special.I miss you so much and still cannot believe you are not here. Heading to the place we always felt at peace today and had spent many a birthday there together. Love you always and forever - keep sending me the signs ###

Tracy would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many cards, flowers and messages received on the sudden loss of Matthew. Our whole family are so touched by the outpouring of love which brings great comfort to us all. Special thanks to Steven Stewart Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism. Thank you to Rev Jeff Martin for conducting the service and to everyone who attended Cupar Old Parish Church to pay their last respects to Matthew.

The collection raised £1807.67 and will be donated to both Scottish Mountain Rescue and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.

Well my darling, I never ever thought I would have to write this post . As we move into 2026, it’s so hard to believe that you are not by my side. We loved our New Years spent with great friends and when we celebrated last year, we never knew it would be your last. So my love, I hope you are up there looking down on us all with a dram in your hand as we try our best to live without you. Love you Always and Forever.

I am heartbroken to share that Matthew my husband, best friend and soulmate passed away suddenly on Thursday 4 December. He was my rock, my go-to person, my absolute everything.

I will cherish the 38 wonderful years that we shared together and will hold him deep in my heart forever.

It was a joy to work on this beautiful St Andrews home in the last few months. Phase 1 is now completed and we now move onto Phase 2. Thanks once again to all our amazing trades and suppliers .
