So here it is - not everyday you see a postbox like this! It was commissioned by the lovely couple that I repaired the two copper lamp posts for last year so naturally I had to use some vintage copper in the design! It's been so enjoyable designing and bringing this to life and it looks stunning in it's natural surroundings. Made from steel, copper, brass and hardwood.
Should probably add, AI was used to remove the backgrounds in the final images to help show off the silhouette more.

So here are my latest set of gates. Inspired by a butterfly and made with steel, stained glass, brass and mahogany. The design of the gates flows into the lamps I made to go on top of the stone pillars either side. Big thanks to Bruce and Leslie for commissioning me to design and make these, and especially to Leslie for making me the best BLT I've ever had today while I was round fitting them. Reel to follow soon that will show the design off better as the photos really don't do them justice!

On 28th August, my kids will be taking on the rather terrifying task of shaving my head! 😂
I'm doing it to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that does an incredible amount to support people and families affected by cancer.
I've also given the kids an extra challenge… if we reach £500, they get to shave off my facial hair AND eyebrows too! 😳😂
We'll be doing it LIVE on Facebook, so please join us for what should hopefully be an entertaining — and slightly embarrassing — evening!
Cancer affects so many people and families, and this is a cause that deserves all the support we can give it. If you can donate, no matter how much, it would mean a lot to us. ❤️

All great guesses but nobody got it right. They are in-fact photograph holders. (Can also be used as table number holders for weddings/resteraunts) . I only came up with the design for these yesterday so these are brand new and will be trialed tomorrow at the CDDF Producers Market in Castle Douglas. They will also be available on Etsy soon. Excited to share some sneak peek pics of this commission that is almost at completion - a set of very unique gates. They are currently being painted and once we figure out a few technical complexities regarding the fitting and mechanical side , they will be finished. Expect completed photos in the next couple of weeks 🤞.
