Seriousaurus, our Chief Financial Officer, Head of Operations and, following recent events, the only employee trusted with the company credit card.

Seriousaurus has joined The Skein Stealer's Stash to ensure we remain focused, financially responsible and don't get distracted by unnecessary projects.

His first task was supervising development of our new dice bags.
Unfortunately, his first day was somewhat delayed because management spent an hour making his wardrobe.

Seriousaurus has declined to comment.

Meet the Management 🦕📋

We thought it was about time we introduced you to the voice behind reasons at The Stash; Seriousaurus - our very serious Manager of Operations.

Armed with his clipboard, glasses and trusty abacus, Seriousaurus is responsible for organisation, quality control, important paperwork and, increasingly, asking Roughy “Should we really…?”

He takes his responsibilities extremely seriously.

Unfortunately, nobody else does...

When he isn’t reviewing production, inspecting prototypes or discovering entirely new things to add to his paperwork, Seriousaurus can usually be found trying to maintain some semblance of order around the Stash.

Apparently, starting even a tiny crochet business involves homework 🧐🧶📝

The Skein-Stealer's Stash is slowly ready to officially becoming a real little business, and I've reached the stage where I should probably find out what people actually want - rather than simply making things and hoping for the best 😅

So, I've made a tiny survey - to fit this tiny business!

• Base salary: 3 strands of Stylecraft Special DK per annum
• Performance bonus: One additional stripe for every successful compliance test

Roughy enters the company as Chief Compliance Wizard, with responsibilities like quality control, product testing and making sure everything that leaves The Stash meets the appropriate safety requirements.

After a week of probation, he has been issued staff ID and obligatory wizard hat. The bottles however are NOT company issued and currently under investigation...

As a creator, I do not support AI content being advertised as human-made, and will always guarantee that all my creations and patterns are 100% human-made, including posts and photos.

However, at this stage in my adventures starting and getting this little business adventure running, I have used AI to generate my art for my page due to lack of skills to create them myself and due to lack of finances to hire a professional artist to do so.

I have also used AI to 'discuss' my business plan, ideas and to help pinpoint how to make all this work. It is still all very much me, but AI has helped me polish some parts and/or pointed me in the right directions on how to do it myself.

As a mother of a beautiful girl, I can’t even fathom what it would be like seeing my child having to go through major injury or illness. However, I do know that I would do anything in my power to keep her smiling and hoping. That is why I have chosen to support Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, to help children and their families to find that extra ray of light in what must be one of the worst situations a family can go through, and bring back some of that hope and magic into a child's life.

The work of Make-A-Wish UK beautifully mirrors the magic and imagination that one can find with tabletop games, and by supporting them I hope to help bring hope and real-world magic to the children who need it the most. Therefore, it means the world to me that every adventurer and creature bought from me helps fund a real-life adventure for a child, giving them a chance to experience a new world of joy and possibilities outside of hospital.

From each sale, 10% of the profit will be donated through our JustGiving page. All funds collected through sales will be donated monthly with a full update on the amount so we all can see the real impact we help making.

Amongst our products we sell collectible plushies in limited supply or on order, and will monthly have a few spots open for direct commissions to create a as-close-as-possible replica of your tabletop character from games such as Dungeons and Dragons.

For each item sold, 10% of the profit will go to Make-A-Wish Foundation UK to support children dealing with illnesses, so they may experience their own unique adventure, and offer them a chance to live out their greatest wish.
