This home demonstrates how modern design solutions can create a comfortable, high-performance living environment with minimal reliance on external utilities.

• Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)

• Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUD) resin bound driveway
• Recycled and locally sourced materials wherever possible
• Local trades employed throughout the build

Every element was carefully considered to deliver a home that is energy-efficient, resilient, and built with sustainability at its core.

Many thanks to Ted Todd Fine Wood Floors for showing the APM Design team around their factory and Cheshire Design Centre today.

It was a fantastic experience to see their extensive manufacturing capabilities in person as well as their enviable range of antique timber products not to mention their extremely impressive Karta eco-friendly range.

Those of you who have visited our Darwen Studio material sample library may recognise one of Design Director Andy's hand-drawn sketches, dating all the way back to the late 1980s — created for an 'Alien'-themed nightclub project in Greater Manchester.

Almost 40 years later, we've beamed it into 2026 as a full CGI visual... we hope you enjoy seeing the transformation.

Site progress check on another office refurbishment project this week. The site is almost back to a clean shell and then its time to make it look awesome again!

Seeing a space evolve from concept to completion is what drives us. This one is shaping up well, and we look forward to sharing the finished result in due course.
