G Oakes & Son Antiques Our extensive warehouse in Darwen carries our stock of antique and vintage furniture , collectables Our motto is " We buy anything old and interesting ".

We buy and sell antiques , vintage, retro and good quality reproduction furniture, architectural and garden items and quality bric a brac. We sell to the antique trade and private individuals locally regionally and nationally. We also have an export department and we sell and pack containers which can be shipped worldwide. Our main international market is the USA and we currently send containers

on a regular basis to 2 customers in Texas. In the past we have shipped to many US States including California , Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Washington. Other country's include Canada, Australia , Japan, Lebanon, and Malta.

This is an ICONIC PIEFF ROSEWOOD & CHROME ELEGANZA DINING TABLE & chairs . by TIM BATES. MID-CENTURY DANISH the design quality is outstanding ,as you would expect from Pieff who were a leading manufacturer of the 1960s & 70 designer furniture. The table Measures 79" long x 39" deep x 29" tall . Although manufactured and intended as a dining table it has also been utilised as an impressive desk. A great use of Rosewood and chrome , very much in vogue at the time . Please study the images as a sure way to see condition . This appears to be a rare table .

Just in stock this SUPERB HUGE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE SOLID PINE HOUSEKEEPERS PANTRY LARDER CUPBOARD. Ideal for a large Farmouse or country kitchen .
The design &quality is outstanding ,as you would expect from a bespoke piece made in the Victorian era. This is a very large cupboard the size being somewhat deceptive from the images ...Measures 47" wide x 17" deep (exc cornice) 19.5" max wide x 87.5" tall . This was originally manufactured and intended as a cupboard to be used in kitchen or larder having strong and multiple shelves to hold maximum amount of items , you will notice that the planked back is intentionally cut a couple of inches short , this will allow some air flow, and see how the sides are cut back to allow the door to be opened fully . Would make an exceptionally impressive addition to any period kitchen.
