The Inside Story.

Being an interior designer means my dream home wish list is forever growing… but a few things have firmly earned their place as non-negotiables 🤎

From the little details to the way each space feels and functions, these are the things I’d want in my own home.

what’s the one thing you would NOT compromise on?⭐️

A small office space, a tight turnaround and a modest budget.

With the keys to their new office already in hand, but the space not yet ready to work from, my client was facing the cost of paying wasted rent.

The challenge? To create a functional, welcoming and thoughtfully designed workspace, without unnecessary delays or overspending.

From initial design through to ordering and installation, the entire project was completed within just one month.

A quick turnaround, a considered budget and, most importantly, no more wasted rent payments🤍

Bought the sofa. Tried the paint samples. Still can’t get the room to feel right? 🏡

Sometimes you know how you want your home to feel, but pulling everything together is the overwhelming part.

I’m Frankie, an interior designer based in Whitegate, Cheshire, I help turn all those saved ideas into a home that feels like your dream🤍

Whether you’re refreshing one room or planning a bigger renovation, I can help with:

✨ Layouts that make better use of your space
✨ Colours, furniture, lighting and finishing touches
✨ Realistic 3D visuals so you can see the design before committing
✨ A buying guide with links, so you know exactly what to order

My design service has a clear, agreed fee, with no hidden costs or furniture mark-ups. You’ll know what you’re paying from the start, with the design tailored around your budget.

It’s a personal process, with time to talk through your ideas, understand what matters to you and help you feel confident making changes.

Have a room you’re stuck on? Send me a photo and tell me what isn’t working, we can chat about how I could help from there.

A warm, timeless kitchen designed with practical, everyday living at the heart of it 🤎

Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone cabinetry paired with a natural oak island brings warmth and contrast, finished with a quartz worktop for a clean, elevated feel.

Quartz is a great choice for busy kitchens. It’s durable, non porous and easy to maintain, making it just as practical as it is beautiful.

Every detail has been considered to make the space flow effortlessly, with plenty of storage and a layout designed around how the kitchen will actually be used.

A little bedroom scheme I’m OBSESSED with🤎

I wanted this design to feel cosy and collected, like it’s evolved overtime with furniture pieces gathered over different stages of life rather than being bought all in one go.

The fury chair & bench may just be my favourite part🙃

Another little look at the CGIs for the Northwest Floors ltd showroom ✨

Warm, welcoming and full of gorgeous textures, counting down the days for opening day🤎

A little day in the life🤎

Bit of designing, site visits, sourcing & sampling and about 100 other things in between (🙃)

The less glamorous (but very real) side of running an interior design business. No two days ever really look the same, which is probably my favourite part of running The Inside Story.

A kitchen designed to feel timeless, warm and completely at home in its surroundings.🫶🏽

Soft neutral cabinetry is grounded by a rich timber island, while aged-bronze details, statement lighting and the chequerboard stone floor bring character throughout.

Classic in its foundations, but with just enough contrast to keep it feeling fresh and considered.

Would this be your dream kitchen?
