A brief history of Daventry Blinds😄

First established in 2007, Daventry Blinds has been a family run business for 19 years.

Beginning in the back of a clothes shop named Exit for Men, formally known as Fosters, Daventry Blinds was born by Julie and John, where they made vertical blinds themselves, with Mike working as their first fitter.

Then in 2013, Daventry Blinds moved into it's very own shop - it's current location, 67 The High Street.

In 2014, as the business grew, Gary joined Daventry Blinds as a fitter, followed by Joe in early 2025.

After this, John retired, with Gary taking over the business.

Fast forward to 2026 when new hire's Maisy and Jessica joined the team!

Today Daventry Blinds remains a familiar establishment within the High Street community, welcoming customers new and old. We are looking forward to 2027 when Daventry Blinds will be celebrating it's 20th anniversary!

We have a great selection of venetian blinds in our store, including real-wood, fauxwood, aluminium and fabric venetians

Venetian blinds provide good quality light and privacy control with their adjustable horizontal slats

With many different types available, venetian blinds are versatile and can be a great addition to your lounge, kitchen or bathroom

Meet The Team: Gary

➡Gary is our beloved leader at Daventry Blinds! Gary has lived in Daventry all his life and is a familiar face within the community

➡Gary oversees everything to do with the business, welcoming customers into the shop, as well as measuring and fitting blinds

➡Gary has been part of the team at Daventry Blinds for twelve years and has twenty years experience working in customer service

➡When Gary is not doing all things business, or entertaining his two children, Gary can be found playing pickleball, darts, or going for walks, and loving all things history!

➡Jessica has been part of the team at Daventry Blinds for four months, and has over five years experience working in customer service

➡Jessica's hobbies include reading, walks in nature, going to the cinema as well as the theatre, and spending time with her friends and family!

➡Joe is one of our blind fitters, welcoming customers into the shop, measuring and fitting blinds to help make houses feel like homes

➡ Joe has been part of the team at Daventry Blinds for two years and has over twenty years experience working in customer service

➡Joe's hobbies include watching live music, going to the theatre, family hikes and discovering new foodie hot spots. And if he's not doing any of those you can likely find him indulging in his slightly unhealthy LEGO obsession!
