The exhibitor application form for this year's Creative Coast Christmas Events is officially live! If you're creating gorgeous jewellery, tasty treats, or amazing gifts, we want to hear from you.

We’re expecting a proper festive bonanza, so naturally, we want the very best stands. This means we're going to take our time to go through all of your incredible applications. Because of this, no stands will be allocated until August.

Catch up!

So we’re through January, hurrah. I adopted a term I read somewhere “ wintering” which for me meant staying home, trying to go at a gentler pace and not pressuring myself. If you know me you’ll know the staying home part wasn’t hard for me!

I’ve been thinking about the next year and what I’d like to do. In 2025 I dipped my toes into candle workshops, nerve wracking to,start but so enjoyable and I have a few booked in this year. One in time for Mother’s Day that could be a lovely shared experience, followed by an autumn date getting ready for pumpkin spice and a couple at Christmas.

Candle wise I’m in the final stages of testing 3 new scents and making sure they’re ready for sale. They’ll be available in candles and melts.

And finally I’ve been considering making diffusers. What do you think? Yes or no?

Candle care

Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects

Allow candle to melt to the edge of the jar. This prevents future tunneling

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Keep out of reach of pets and children

Trim the wick to 1/4 “ tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and burning nicely
