We have all been deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Queen Elizabeth II. She served our country and the commonwealth for an unprecedented 70 years, and is now reunited with her husband, Prince Philip.
In light of this sad news, with heavy hearts we felt it no long appropriate to hold Denton Carnival this Sunday.
We want to thank everyone who have shown their support for this event, and been working hard preparing to make this years’ a success. In due course, we will let you know the date for the next carnival.
