Why replace a beautiful wooden floor when it can be sanded and sealed back to it's former glory?

This is a recent project for a local Scout hut. The first four pictures are during the sanding process and the last two (very shiny floor) photos are the finished product after the primer coat and clear lacquer has been applied.

We were asked to provide something different & exciting by one of our clients who lives in The Park, Nottingham, and our domestic flooring specialists suggested Impress Mystical, part of IVC’s Moduleo range.

The client loved the random shade and pattern style and how well they worked together.

In a through area the effect is simply stunning.

LVT is great for any room in the house but especially the kitchen and bathroom. It's not only hardwearing and water resistant but looks great too. This beautiful Kitchen was recently completed by Les, one of our senior fitters at AJ Floorcraft.

We over boarded the new chipboard floor with 6mm plyboard, and then prepared this with Ardex Feather finish to give a smooth and level surface to lay the tiles on. We gave this surface time to fully dry out. This is an important step in laying this type of floor to ensure no problems arise further on down the line.

We then laid Amtico Form, Pavestone pattern, using Amtico adhesive.

This floor took 3 days to complete in total.

We think the finish result looks fantastic.
