I was glazing late last night to get things into the kiln and ready for my next show .arttrail this coming weekend.
Creating my own glazes is fun, this green glaze I'm putting onto some shell designs will actually turn a deep pink. It's the combination of tin and chrome that magically makes this happen. It's lots of testing, calculations and time, but once you have a good recipe, you can recreate it over and over again.

My next event is the Bank Holiday Sunday 3rd & Monday 4th May for . The whole town is turned into a giant arts festival full of creatives, artists, designers and musicians. It's a fantastic weekend.

Just emptied the last kiln load before next Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th at Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield. This is a new show for me, I'm really excited to be taking part, but alittle nervous.
