NEW!

I’m so pleased to introduce my newest wall hangings featuring rose and milky quartz. They’re knotted with a beautifully chunky cord in two designs. These are made to order and obviously each gemstone will differ.

I was looking back at some of the owls I’ve knotted this year. It’s always interesting to see what colours my customers choose, especially when they choose a bright colour.
Each of my owls feature a driftwood perch, meaning each one is unique. They’re around 60cm long and they make a real statement on your wall.

I’ve had a few enquiries about my heart wall hangings since I showed you the mustard one last week. So here are the colours I’ve made so far. The beauty of this pattern is that I can knot them as large or as small (see the last two pictures) as you’d like.
I love the natural one here but what about you?

I had a really exciting delivery today. Something I’ve wanted to make for a while. But there’s one more thing I’m waiting on to make these extra special!

Did you know I made necklaces?

I read somewhere that you have to show people something at least 20 times before they remember it. So here I am showing these again!

They’re lightweight, easy to wear, and fasten with a magnetic clasp.

I’ve just one or two colours available too!

Things don’t always go to plan.

I tried to be clever last week and try a new pattern - one with a variation on this knot. It started off well and I was hopeful that what I’d knotted was going to work, but as you’ll see from the picture in the comments, it went very wrong and was all wonky.

But the beauty of macrame is nothing is wasted, I just untied it all, added some colour and here we have the start of a new tassel bag.

Do you think I should have carried on or was I right to stop? And can you see what was going wrong?
