What’s everyone’s bank holiday weekend plans? Naturally I think I’m getting a cold as soon as the weather starts to improve 🥲🤧

Colour scheme of dreams 💙🤍🤎
The Everyday Cup Collection is all about harmony. Intense blue and white inspired by hot summer skies, rich brown and blue contrasts, and the comforting timelessness of chocolate and vanilla tones.

After the success of the market, I only have a few of these cups in Breakwater left. Lots of Roast and Milk ones up for grabs though!

Specks of iron in the clay peek through my latest glaze, Breakwater, creating a satisfying contrast of weathered elegance and luminous sheen.
This glaze will be a limited one, just like Lavender. So if you want to add it to your collection then set your reminders for the 1st May when this finish will be available 🌊

I never thought I’d be into making white mugs.
I think when you start out in ceramics often you wanna be unique, you want to create the most groundbreaking shapes and colour combinations you possibly can - especially when you eventually plan to try and make a living from it.
I don’t know if it’s fatigue from years of trying new shapes, new colours, having a million different ideas and never really seeing any of them through properly, or if it’s just that over time my taste has refined itself without me realising - but I find the combination of this speckled clay, the clean, architectural lines of the Everyday Cup, and this warm glossy white so immensely soothing and refreshing. Especially now the sun has decided to come out, I could stare at the patterns that the speckles make for hours.
If you’ve read all these musings, thank you and please let me know your thoughts on handmade white cups. Basic, or classic?

If you’ve had your eye on an Everyday Cup in Lavender - better snap it up soon as this next batch coming out of the kiln will be the last. It’s time for Lavender to retire & make way for something new.
Hint: it’s gonna be summery 😎
