🛑ADVANCE WARNING/NOTICE PLEASE READ 🛑

Firstly, I'd like to apologise, but I may have to stop accepting cash payments going forward.

I've been to the bank today to deposit some cash and unfortunately discovered that I had received £120 in counterfeit notes. The bank has now retained the notes and taken all my details while they investigate.

As many of you know, I'm currently in the process of trying to buy my own home, and the last thing I need is any issues or complications arising from something like this.

Going forward, I would appreciate payments being made by:
✅ Bank Transfer
✅ Debit/Credit Card (I can send a secure payment link)

I understand this may be inconvenient for some customers and I apologise for that. Losing £120 is a significant amount for a small business, so I'll be looking into alternative payment solutions for customers who aren't able to make bank transfers.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support of my small business.

Good afternoon everyone,

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for how far behind I am at the moment.

As many of you know, we've been having ongoing issues with my daughter and have had numerous meetings and appointments trying to get some answers and a diagnosis. Naturally, family comes first, and this has taken up a lot of my time recently.

On top of that, I took on some extra work earlier in the year expecting the weather to improve sooner than it has, and after having last week off for my brother's wedding (which had glorious weather, typical!), I've come back to a week of rain and delays.

I'm doing everything I can to catch up and get around to everyone as quickly as possible. If you'd like to be pencilled in as a priority, or you're happy for me to work in light rain where possible, please send me a message or leave a comment and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

I've also been incredibly busy trying to secure our first home. Being self-employed has made the mortgage process an absolute nightmare with all the paperwork involved! Some days I feel like giving up on it altogether 😂. But if it all comes together, it'll be thanks to the support you've all given me over the last 10 years. I'm proud to say I've built this business myself through hard work, determination, and the loyalty of some fantastic customers.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It really does mean a lot to me and my family.

Wow… what a difference in the weather ☀️ Summer is definitely on its way 😍

Steveo’s has had another absolutely non stop week this week and I’ve also managed to hit another personal best 💪 another achievement unlocked and something I’m really proud of.

Today was an earlier finish after only a few jobs to complete in Boroughbridge, then a couple of hours in the office sorting paperwork, quotes and emails out 📧

Just a little update for my Harrogate customers — I am currently off next week as I’m heading down south for my brother’s wedding 🍻

I am slightly behind in Harrogate after a bit of time off recently, so my main Harrogate round will restart properly in the first week of June 👍

HOWEVER… I am working around Harrogate/Knaresborough tomorrow fitting a few customers in, so if anybody would like a window clean tomorrow then send the page a message and I’ll see if I can squeeze you in 👌

I think after the week I’ve had, a few beers in the garden tonight are definitely on the cards 🍺☀️

Well… another busy day for Steveo’s today and it still isn’t over 😢💪

Started at 7am carrying out some commercial work down at Dalton Industrial Estate, followed by a quick coffee and breakfast stop at Wetherspoons 😋

Then headed over to Thirsk for a full exterior restoration on a property starting at 9:30am.

Today’s job included:
✔ uPVC cleaning/restoration
✔ Solar panel cleaning
✔ Gutters cleared
✔ Window cleaning

After around 15 years of built-up dirt and grime, they’re not perfect… but wow what a difference 👌

Managed to get the whole job completed by 2:30pm and while working there I had 4 different cars stop for business cards 😳 non stop at the minute!

Then it was straight to Tesco to fill the fridge and cupboards up for the wife and kids ready for half term, as I’m away down in Great Yarmouth for my brother’s wedding 🍻

Of course a few bottles of 🍷 for the Mrs aswell… she’ll need it being left on her own for 4 days 😂

Now it’s 5pm, the tank is filled back up and I’m heading back out for another 3 hours of commercial work in Boroughbridge 😴

Absolutely non stop lately and definitely looking forward to a bit of time off… even though some people think window cleaners just disappear all winter 😂

Random act of kindness today 😂👏

When you’re in the middle of a big job and the neighbour comes out — never met her before in my life — and says:

“Do you want a sausage roll?” 😅

I said, “No thank you, I’m fine.”

She replies:
“Go on… you’re wasting away!” 😂

So I thought… go on then 👌

Then she comes back out and says:
“Here, take all three — I’ll only eat one, I’m only small!” 😭😂

Well… that’s the diet completely out the window.

Bonus was… they were actually HOT 🔥

Another satisfied customer 🙌

Another conservatory brought back to life and looking like new again ✨

This one took around 2 and a half hours to complete, but the results speak for themselves 👍

Forgot to get proper before photos 😅 but managed to grab a couple, and you can still clearly see the difference.

Now off to Boroughbridge to get some regular window cleans completed 💧

Quick little refresh for one of my regular customers this morning 💧

Started at 9:15 and all finished by 10:20 👍

This older conservatory still has plenty of life left in it and is now looking fresh and clean again ✨

Now onto another full first-time conservatory clean just round the corner — this one’s going to take a fair bit longer 😅

No matter how big or small the job is, delivering the first-class service that Steveo’s offers will always be the number one priority 🙌

And I think that shows with the amount of repeat custom I receive, with some regular customers having the same service year after year for the past 10 years 👍
