Conker clock is taking shape (love the grain with horse chestnut!). Cut a batch of horse chestnut leaves (there will be more than one conker clock), added some colour and glued them on. Turned one conker and glued that in place and turned a conker shell (to be finished possibly tomorrow). Couldn't wait to oil at least some of it 😁😁😁

As soon as I saw this incredible piece of yew I knew exactly what I was going to make with it. Possibly the most beautiful lamp I've ever made (and I expect there will never be another one to better it). And, of course, it needed a suitable bulb.

It's going for testing tomorrow and then should be available on my stall at Old Hall Cafe & Walks on Sunday 30th August 😁😁😁
