Important clarification

We have recently been made aware of a newly announced event using a very similar abbreviation to my market.

For clarity, Artisan & Re-enactors Market (ARM) is not affiliated with, connected to, or involved in this event in any way.

ARM is an independently organised market with its own branding, organisers, and events, and at the moment the ONLY venue is the Warwickshire Event Centre.

We have raised our concerns directly and requested that the abbreviation be reconsidered in order to avoid any potential confusion, which I believe has already started to happen. This request has been declined.

We therefore wish to make it clear to traders, visitors, and the wider reenactment community that ARM operates entirely separately.

Just a reminder that we have the following types of hose which can be ordered via email - [email protected]:

Heavy weight wool - very robust and good for soldiers £24
Medium weight wool - closest to original knitted versions £22
Fine weight wool- better for high status £13
Fine weight cotton- not really accurate but may be preferred to wool £11

There will also be P&P on top of the price - invoice with order.

Please note that if urgent we need a response by Friday 5th Dec as we are unavailable from 7th to 21st December.

Hi all,

Events and hose orders

Just a quick note to apologise to the ECWS as regrettably we will not be able to attend the upcoming St Ives muster owing to a family wedding. We will however be on the ECWS campsite at Detling on the August Bank Holiday (apologies to the SK at Worcester) and look forward to seeing you all again!

We will not be able to post any hose from Tuesday 22nd to Wednesday 30th July, inclusive. Our hose website is in the process of being updated and we do not have all our colours in stock - meantime you can email us direct with orders to [email protected] - this is preferable because I forget to check Facebook and Ian is still mastering the quill pen.

You can of course catch up with us at the Artisans and Reenactors Market in mid November where we will have stock from all periods.

We are very sorry to hear that fellow traders Quartermaster Stores has ceased trading (that is a completely separate business from Quartermasterie) and we hope the future holds better news for them.
