Does handwriting matter?
Basically, my handwriting is like chicken scratch and it’s rarely ever the same depending on what I’m doing.
I have only one “type” that is comfortable and typically, it’s the opposite slant to a “typical” sellable font where it slants forward… and when I try to do it nice, it looks really unprofessional.
I’m really jealous of all the artists who just free hand on their machines but I absolutely can’t. And I also don’t want to faff about pulling the bits of interfacing out on such small wordings! Takes far too long
So my question, if you’re buying personalised, does it matter if it’s in the handwriting style of the maker, even if it’s not the norm or do you want the typically presented fonts?
