This little snails are about to help us grow 500 sweet peas…

We’re making seed snails to get next year’s sweet peas off to the best possible start, and yes… we’re sowing 250 of them now and another 250 in the spring!

If you know, you know… there’s something ridiculously exciting about sowing seeds now and imagining all those beautiful blooms, gorgeous colours and armfuls of scented sweet peas next summer.

The plan? Grow them, nurture them, and hopefully have more sweet peas than we know what to do with!

Tell us… are 500 sweet peas ambitious, or just the right amount?!

Save this for your next seed-sowing session and follow along to see how our sweet pea adventure grows!

A little wedding venue recce with a magical soundtrack…

We popped along to scout out the church for a wedding we’re working on this October, and as luck would have it, they had a coffee morning on too!

And when those bells started ringing, we couldn’t help but feel they were giving us a little welcome… we like to think they were ringing just for us!

October wedding plans are underway, and we can’t wait to be part of the magic.

Just another day in the office… Dorset wedding edition!

Delivering wedding flowers in Dorset is never just a delivery… sometimes it comes with a little off-road adventure!

Beautiful countryside, winding lanes, a ford to drive through, and flowers on board!

Just another day bringing a little floral magic to someone’s special day! Because in Dorset, even delivering the flowers can be an adventure!

Deadheading… a tedious job, but just look at those dead heads!

The fresh flower season is nearly coming to its end for 2026, which makes us a little sad… Although, there are still plenty of buds on the dahlias so we might be lucky for the October Famers Market.

It is not all doom and gloom though, as we have a busy festive season around the corner.

Watch out for our dates of where we’ll be!!

Labels are important.

Because there’s nothing quite like looking at a tray of identical little green seedlings three months later and thinking…

“Well, this could be literally anything.”

So, as we keep on growing for Spring 2027, we’re labelling EVERYTHING.

Future us deserves to know what we planted.

And yes, Claire has opinions about labels.

When you need one more thing…

Gathering foliage, the Fedora way.

The thing is… if we feel your bouquet, if your arrangement, if your wreath needs more, we’ll put more in.

We look at every creation and think… “Am I Happy?” and if that little voice in our heads hesitate, even slightly, then we’ll add more. No strict recipes. Just gut feelings.

You as our customers are so valuable to us, we want to be selfish and keep you, we want you to be happy. If adding another few stems means that we are now happy to send it out, then that’s what we’ll do.

DAHLIA WEEKEND

Dahlias are stealing the show in our bouquets this weekend — and we couldn’t be happier about it.

We’ve been gathering the best of what’s flowering now, with dahlias grown by us alongside beautiful blooms from other local flower growers.

Think big.
Think blousy.

Gorgeous colours and that unmistakable late-summer abundance.

Every bouquet will be a little different, but all will be seasonal, locally grown and packed with flowers at their absolute best.

If you’ve been waiting for a dahlia bouquet, this is your weekend.

Come early for the best choice — we’d love to see these beauties fly off the stand.

NO FLOWERS. JUST INFLATABLES.

Yesterday, Claire and I swapped flowers for something a little more chaotic…

We headed to Weymouth for the Ironman 70.3 — although, technically, I couldn’t even get out of my road because the event had taken over!

Claire’s son Toby had friends taking part, so obviously we went along to cheer them on.

But cheering quietly from the sidelines?
Absolutely not.
We had inflatables.
And honestly… they went down a treat.

We got laughs.
We got smiles.
We got plenty of confused looks.

And, most importantly, we got to cheer on some seriously incredible people doing something seriously incredible. Because whether you’re crossing the finish line of an Ironman 70.3, taking on your first triathlon, or simply getting through something that feels impossible…

You deserve people making some noise for you.

So yesterday, Weymouth got a little more inflatable, a lot more ridiculous, and hopefully a tiny bit more fun.

And yes… we may have found a new calling.

Who needs a cowbell when you’ve got an inflatable?!
