Autumn Equinox Blend - Banging Scent throw 🍂✨but why?

I’ve had so many lovely messages about the amazing scent throw of this blend, and there’s actually some fascinating science behind it… fascinating, if you are a geek like me!

Cinnamon, clove and nutmeg are naturally rich in powerful aromatic compounds, many of which plants produce as part of their own defence systems. Nature really is quite extraordinary. 🌿

Every one of my blends is carefully created to give a beautiful scent throw, but some essential oils are naturally more intense than others.

And the most important part? 100% natural essential oils. Always. Never synthetic fragrance oils.

Because what we use to fragrance our homes matters just as much as how beautiful they smell. 🤎

The lovely Amy from asked me ages ago if I wanted to display some of my products in her home salon and it’s taken be about 18 months to get my arse in gear but here they are!!

Amy offers all sorts of eyelash magic, brows and waxing and is right here in Dorking. She a lovely human and very skilled and well renowned and now you can pamper yourself and grab pressies for others or yourself while you are there (without the postage costs!)

I’m honestly buzzing about being able to release these new designs 🌙✨ I’ve been dying to share them properly and I just love how they’ve turned out!

They’re £14 each with an approx. 18–22 hour burn time, so they make such a great value, thoughtful little gift (or a very justifiable treat for yourself).

And if you can’t choose just one… the full set of four is £39.50, which works out at just under £9.90 a candle 🙌 They come together in the most gorgeous bespoke-made gift box too, and the whole thing just feels really special.

I’m a little bit obsessed with them 🌙

There’s something about this time of year that always feels like an invitation to slow down 🍂

The Autumn Equinox reminds us that there’s a season for growth and expansion, but also a season for turning inward, taking stock and letting go.

As the light begins to shift, I’m reflecting on what I want to carry with me into this next season - and what I’m ready to leave behind.

✨ A little Moonlit Botanicals update… and I’m SO excited! ✨

My little collection of votive candles is having a beautiful revamp 🌙🕯️

The white labels that previously sat on the front of each candle are being replaced with a carefully etched design directly onto the glass - something that feels much more in keeping with the magic and intention behind Moonlit Botanicals.

Each design will share more about the candle’s essential oil ingredients and the aromatherapy benefits - turning each candle into a little ritual of its own. 🌿

All four of my Moon Phase Blend votive candles will be getting their own version of this new design, created to complement the intention and essential oil blend within.

They’ll be back and available in a couple of weeks. Until then, I’ve temporarily removed the votive candles from the website while I get everything ready.

Thank you for being patient with me. I promise they’ll be worth the wait. 🌙✨

I know for some it’s welcomed with reluctance but there’s something so special about this turn of the season - the light softening, the evenings drawing in, and that gentle invitation to slow down, turn inwards and embrace a new rhythm.

Many soy candles are linked to monocropping, deforestation, heavy processing, and hidden additives. That’s why I choose a coconut and rapeseed wax blend instead ✨

The wax I use is plant-based, biodegradable, burns cleanly, and supports a more sustainable approach with lower environmental impact. Better for your space, and kinder to the planet 🌍🕯️
