We are still dealing with the aftermath of the storm which caused the shop’s basement to flood. Therefore, will be closed for weeks whilst we are removing the water and the spoilt stock and give the building a chance to dry.

Beautiful and extremely sturdy and robust Lloyds Loom chair.
No structural damage AT ALL.
Ex-display from our shop, so there are some cosmetic signs of wear and tear at the bottom of the legs. You can always re-spray it ti fit with you decor or for new fresh look.

Beautiful wine/side oak table professionally re-vamped in our workshop.
A circular inset decoupage of William Morris paper.
Painted with a good quality paint and sealed with a durable varnish.
Lovely pie crust style top. Slightly distressed and gold waxed to highlight the lovely details.

And this is what you call a sympathetic restoration.

An elegant and very well made Regency style mahogany console table. This was made in England and it dates from around the 1950’s.

This is of excellent quality and is a great size to be used as a console table or even an occasional desk / writing table.

It has a bowed front with two generous drawers which have vintage bee handles, and sabre shaped front legs which give this a beautiful look.

The table was in a very sorry state with deep scratches and was destined to be painted. But…. After careful hand sanding, most of the damage was gone and the beautiful inlay veneer was revealed and restored. Some gold detailing was added to make it more contemporary and modern.
The drawers are lined in yellow vintage paper.

And just look at those beautiful bee handles !!!

Refinished and re-coated with a high quality varnish suitable for daily use.

Depth 44cm
Height 74cm

From brown vintage to glamorous!!!!
An ordinary box was completely transformed with decoupage and the addition of the upholstered top. Gold velvet was the obvious choice for a timeless and elegant look.

Dear Customers
Due to circumstances out of our control, we will be closing our shop on the 14th of March 2025.
After the official closing date, we shall open only on Saturdays and some Sundays for the next few months until our move is complete. We are still working on existing orders and new orders are welcomed, however, we are fullly booked until beginning of May.
We will be continue working from our workshop in Dover, so don’t worry, we are still in business, just not from the High Street location.
Will be posting regular updates , so keep tuned

These had just been finished and gone back home. An amazing William Morris velvet with a Strawberry Thief design was used to complement the beautifully dark wood frame.
Gorgeous!!!

The customer was very specific about the design of these cushions and I hope I’ve managed to fulfill her wish. Beautiful...

The customer was very specific about the design of these cushions and I hope I’ve managed to fulfill her wish. Beautiful textured animal print on the front, lush gold velvet on the back and a “fury” gold trim. All to match the footstool she’s previously bought from us.
Absolutely beautiful and very tactile.
Inspired ? See us for more items in this fabric !!! We are making our own cushions, lampshades, chairs and footstools. Or we can update yours.

A sweet imperfectly perfect little mango wood cabinet. Quite a tall item which makes it very versatile as you can squeeze in the hallway, corner of the room or end of the sofa. It looks almost like a pedestal with very handy drawers !!!
The drawers are beautifully finished in used leather belts and tacks.
Unique, different and one-off piece !!!
