Lovely lamps…a new ones arrived!

This table lamp is made from solid marble and has a linen shade. It’s a great size, and with it being rectangular it fits neatly onto a narrow console.

We’ve styled it with the “Majsa” marble tray just because we have too many trays in the shop to know what to do with! Just so happened that it’s the perfect size to fit under the lamp.

And for those of you on the look out for a narrow console for the hallway, then check out this cute one! This console is from our “Midnight” range and is made from solid oak, with a brass inlay and rattan encapsulated under a glass top.

We are open from 10am and have lots of lovely new lights and furniture that have arrived at the shop this past week.

One of my favourites is this lovely woven jute lamp by Dutch brand Leitmotiv

The Sombrera pendant reminds me of a flower with layers of petals stacked one on top of the other. It’s soft wavy and natural organic shapes makes it the perfect Scandi Inspired design to hang above your Dining Table or Kitchen Island.

Huge thank you to everyone who supported us at The Garage yesterday. It was lovely to see so many of our Draycott customers there, and all the new folk we got to speak to and get to know as well. We’re beyond thrilled at how well received our shop offerings were!

It was our first time trading at any market, and despite going as a customer many times, going as a trader was next level awesome. What a gorgeous bunch of traders there are at The Garage, all so friendly and supportive of one another. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

But here’s an even bigger thank you to Fiona, the boys and your team for continually putting together a great community event for everyone to enjoy week on week. You guys always put 100% in and it shows. What a special place you have created for us all to enjoy. Thank you!

Dear Local Folk of Draycott

We will be closed on Saturday 2 May as we prepare to take some of our stock to Beeston for The Garage Market at Barton’s. We have a double stand there from 10am to 2pm on Sunday should you want to pop over to shop with us there.

We will be back open on Wednesday next week from 10am to 6pm, and will resume our normal Saturday trading days from next weekend.

We hope you support and understand our decision to expand our business following as we hope the markets will help to bring more business to Draycott. Not just for us but for all the other small businesses that operate within Draycott too.

Please don’t panic, we aren’t closing down! We are simply expanding our business reach and look forward to growing our customer base. Have a lovely bank holiday weekend!

We’ve got another new brand we have started working with, and are really excited to share our Karlsson clock collection with you.

This gorgeous sculptural clock is called “Cascara” and is a beautiful burgundy colour. Designed by Callum MacSorley with a pleated cutout design, this clock is D50cm and is the perfect combination of striking yet graceful.

We wanted to make a little announcement about our Saturday trading days.

Over the next 6-7 months we have 4 Saturday’s that we will be closing the shop so to take some of stock to at Barton’s Market in Beeston.

We will be trading at the market from 10-2pm on the following dates:

Saturday 2 May
Saturday 20 June
Saturday 5 September
Sunday 22 November

We are still open every Wednesday to Saturday, just not the 4 mentioned above. With lots of new furniture items in stock we have new arrivals this week of a new range of stunning mugs from Bloomingville Multibrand House and gorgeous dinnerware and glassware for your table, so there’s lots to see.

The smallest details can truly bring together a home, ranging from what we put on our floors, on our tables and even what we hang on our walls.

Sometimes overlooked, wall art can be the first thing we see when we enter a space, so it’s important to pick something that keeps us inspired.

Our extensive and varied wall art collection is primitive yet contemporary, all hand painted and all unique. The art pieces come together with a futuristic looking frame, made of plexiglass.

It’s been a lovely busy day in the shop today meeting so many new faces. Thank you to everyone who’s popped in to support us this week, we really appreciate it!

Here’s a little video of our new incense Nordic House complete with 20 incense cones or 1 tea light depending on your mood! These little collectibles come in several different Nordic Designs, but this one is my favourite at £15.
