Here at The Yorkshire Wolf Candle Company, our candles are made in small batches in our family home, using eco-friendly 100% soy wax flakes with no additives, cold-pressed/steam distilled Essential Oils, and cotton wicks that provide a long-lasting, clean burn. All candle containers are both recyclable and reusable. Many of our customers have praised our candles for how well they burn, right down to the last drop of wax. Keeping your candle wicks trimmed correctly prior to each burn will also ensure that, with our candles, you’ll get none of that pesky black smoke, too. It’s a win-win! The company was founded by Laura, who began this journey as a hobby in the little free time she had between caring for her disabled mother. It has now grown into a family business with her sister, Kara, and her brother, Steven, joining the adventure. We are an eco-conscious company that is devoted to helping the environment as best we can. This is why you won’t catch us using anything economically unfriendly, from the candles right down to the packaging. We are always on the lookout for new ways in how to improve our efforts in the environmental fight and will continue to look forward towards a cleaner and healthier planet. We aim to keep our candles at an affordable price without cutting back on the important things that make a candle more than just a candle. Using soy wax and essential oils, our scents are inspired by the beautiful countryside that surrounds our home, deep in the Yorkshire Wolds. Each candle is a piece of our journey through life, from the places we’ve visited to the memories we’ve made, all melted down in luscious scents that remind us every day how wonderful the world, and all its little moments, really is. The decorations on our candles are made with the same soy wax that's in our candles. They're simply poured into moulds and left to set. They are so pretty and cute, and the de-moulding process is both super satisfying (when it goes right) and deeply frustrating (when it goes wrong and they break in the process) 🙈😂😂 it's all about that balance 👌

So we've been busy making cinnamon tealights and mini glass tealights for a custom order. It looks like we're gonna have some excess leftover, so we're planning to make a few super cute gift bags, which will include 1 glass tealight jar & 8 tealights. Packaged in a cute little kraft bag and sealed with our signature Yorkshire Wolf Candles logo sticker 🐺🤩

New scent on the horizon, inspired by our walks along Flamborough cliffs. It's name inspired by the myths and legends of the cave beneath Flamborough head. It's known as Robin Lythe's Hole - some suppose he was an innocent shipwrecked sailor who was saved by the shelter and safety of the cave and others speculate he was a Robin Hood-esque Smuggler. And if you're into spooky stories, the cave is also said to be haunted 👻 if you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by for a visit. It's certainly well worth it!
