Zane the Zebra, made for a special little lady called Jeanie. My first attempt at stripes and followed a jogless No Cut method to join the rounds with neat finishes. This took considerably longer, but was worth it for the finishing result x 🦓🧶

Crocheted Bridal Garter made for my sons bride on their wedding day.

I asked her mum for a small piece of her own wedding dress lace and took some of mine too and used them as a decorative backing for the silver disc charm, which I had engraved with their initials on from Bloom.

I'd like to think this makes a nice keepsake from their day and that one day it could become an heirloom.

The garter was given as part of a Bridal Gift Box I made up filled with Wedding Day Yankee Candle, Pink Prosecco, a personalised compact mirror, a hand held fan personalised with the brides name and the date of the wedding and I also added the remaining lace from her mums wedding dress to this too, some barefoot sandals, a lace hankie I had embroidered with the date, her initial and blue flowers for something blue, a big thank you to Meg Law for these, and a 1929 silver sixpence for her shoe for luck.

Very excited to have completed my first GIRL dress project! So many boys and so few girls!?

This is The Iris Dress in Drops Safran Blush yarn. The pattern is by Adore Crea. It's such a sweet lacy pattern, but not complicated. Dummy Chain and clip in the same yarn, with wooden clip to compliment the wooden buttons on the dress. Finished off with a crochet adorned card complete with balloons representing Mummy, Daddy, two brothers and new baby girl ###xx 👶🍼👗🐘🎈

Last few days baking for Christmas.

Pigs in blankets/ Rolls with light puff pastry, Heck Chicken Italia Sausages and bacon Medallions for the Slimming World Christmas evening coming in at around 4.5 syns per piggie x

Mary Berry Light Christmas Cake Bites made for my mother in law to go with her hamper we have made for her Christmas Gift x

Finished off with making Chocolate Bark, half with granola nut, fruit and clusters with cranberries and the other half in a Christmas Mix of pretzels, salted caramel pieces, M&Ms and chocolate raisins. This is going nowhere! Something for us to graze on will watching festive films x Photos to follow x

Doing some fund raising to give back to some of the Breast Cancer Charities that helped and supported me, while going through treatment and long afterwards. I've made a bear for a Guess the Name of the Bear Game and all the names have been taken in just a couple of days so, me ever being the optimist, I'm making another.
