🔥 Something a Bit Different 🔥

Here’s a recent install with a unique twist — featuring the stunning Contura 820T, finished with natural soapstone panels.

The soapstone is designed to absorb heat and slowly release it over time, keeping your room warmer for longer even after the fire has died down — a perfect blend of efficiency and style.

This installation also includes a polished granite corner hearth, which was cut on site and laid in situ for a clean, bespoke finish that fits the space perfectly.

The twin wall flue system (200mm diameter) has been carefully installed, running up through a fitted wardrobe where it will be neatly boxed in. It then continues into the loft space, where it has been protected with mesh wiring to prevent any fire hazards from coming into contact with the flue.

🔥False chimney breast & twinwall system🔥

Want a traditional looking fireplace but have no chimney? look no further here we have photos from start to finish of the 3 day process of building a false chimney breast in your home.

So this particular job had did not have a chimney (the one displayed in the photos is false) so we installed a factory made chimney system, once in place then we set out building the chimney breast in situ for the stove with manufacturers recommended requirements, also leaving a access hatch for electrics here are the results…

This customer had twin wall system fitted prior to the purchase of the property. One evening watching tv with the fire lit, he was alone with his 5 year old child, then suddenly his smoke alarms rings off after, further investigation he realised the ceiling joist was smouldering. Thankfully he caught it in good time, this situation is very scary and could happen to anyone it’s also cost him thousands of pounds to put right as every thing had to be structurally checked. Before, During & After🪵 🔥

Our client gave us a call to remove his old false chimney breast, which was very unique and rustic looking, however he had decided he wanted to update his home for a more modern & clean look.

Our client has an external chimney breast. (the old one was not supporting anything structurally) So our team set to work by knocking out the chimney breast tile by tile and brick by brick… as the saying goes “out with the old and in with the new” and that’s exactly what we did.
