Day two complete! 🎨

We’ve learnt so much over the last two days and we’re even more excited to get started! 🥰

Here at The Little Craft House, we’ll be offering casual pottery painting sessions, children’s parties, sip-and-paint evenings and so much more! There’ll be something creative for everyone, whether you’re little or big. 💕

We’re currently having our walls built, and once that’s done, we can finally start bringing our little craft workshop to life! 🛠️

We can’t wait to share the progress with you all and welcome you through the doors soon. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates! 🎨

Things are happening… 🫣👀

We have been working behind the scenes to get our craft studio ready for you all, but the most important step, is the ceramics training! 👩‍🎨🎨

We’ve been attending a training course to make sure we can make our space as perfect as possible, and to make sure we know everything we can about painting pottery! 😝

We are so excited for what’s to come! We’re back for another day of training tomorrow, then hopefully by the end of the week, our studio should be ready to start decorating!! 🌱🎨

Choose any size, any style and your own gemstones to create something completely personal to you. 💎

And the best bit… you’ll be able to take your finished ring home with you on the day! 🥰

Adults only session: This session involves handling an open flame, but we can put on a slightly safer childrens version on a different session 😊

🎨 We’ve had a little name change! 🎨

Our pottery club is now The Little Craft House! 🏡
We’ve changed the name because we don’t want to just do pottery — we want to create a space where children and adults can get creative and try all sorts of different crafts! 🖌️

We’ll be running children’s craft activities, pottery painting, school holiday activities and adults-only creative nights, including things like Sip & Paint evenings. 🍷

And once we’re fully up and running, we’ll also be able to hire out the room for your own craft evenings or private events — and we can even sort the bar for you!

But we want to know what YOU would like to see! What crafty activities would you love us to offer at The Little Craft House?

This is what it looks like right now 🫣… and this is the vision! 🤎

The pictures don’t show the whole room as we’ll also have a little kitchen and bar area tucked into the corner, ready for those all-important drinks and treats while you paint ☕️🍰🥂

I’m heading in tomorrow to get stuck in, so I’ll take some more pictures and put together a proper little vision for you all to see. I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got planned! 🤎🎨

We have a location! 🥳

It’s going to be a temporary home for us. Ideally, we’d love to be on the Square eventually, but while we wait to see what the council decides to do with our town centre, we’ll stay here until we find our forever studio. ❤️

Today we had to get the kiln up those steps!!
it definitely wasn’t easy, but we got it up there! 😂 Well… I say we, I didn’t actually do anything 😅

We’re going in alongside the new Wild Meadow Distillery at Greenside Mill, and we’ll have our own separate room for pottery parties and children’s events. Our Sip & Paint evenings will take place in the bar area, which I think will be such a lovely atmosphere! 🍷🎨

We’re also thinking about doing some food on event days. We do have a spare pizza oven… but honestly, I’m feeling a bit pizza’d out at this point! 😂🍕

So I’m still having a think about what simple food we could offer that would work well for customers and events

🥳 WE HAVE A KILN! 🥳

Today I picked up our very own kiln! 😍 I just need a little bit of training and then I’ll be ready to start taking bookings for pottery painting parties! 🎨🏺

And the best bit… I come to you! 🥳

I’ll bring everything you need for your pottery painting session. You paint, get creative and have fun, and once you’re finished I’ll take all the pots away, fire them in the kiln and then deliver your finished masterpieces back to your home (or wherever you’d like them delivered). 🥰

Perfect for children’s parties, birthdays, girls’ nights, family get-togethers or just an excuse to get everyone together and be creative! 🎨✨

And because these will be my first two parties, I’m looking for two brave guinea pigs 😂🫣

🎉 The first TWO parties booked will be completely FREE! 🎉

It’ll be my first time running the full party experience, so you get a free pottery painting party and I get some much-needed practice! 😂
