Today we worked with Public Health to hold the Make it Happen Wrens Nest and Priory event. Thank you to Priory Park Community School for hosting us.

We heard from some amazing projects and can't wait to see the amazing work they all do!

We even had our new CEO Steve Bavington and local Councillor Keiran Casey - Castle and Priory join us.

Cook With Us is officially 1 year old 🎂 and what a journey it has been .

Thank you to each and every one of you who has been on this journey 🙏.

The original plan was to offer just 10 sessions of cooking classes, which became Epic Eats .

Here we are 1 year later, into our 3rd term of Epic Eats and 3 other groups each week too.

Noone could have predicted where I would be now.

Hope you all enjoy the sessions 🥰🥰🥰

What a busy week we have planned 😄

Mini Chefs - We will be learning all about the different food groups, the nutrition from each group and why it's important to eat a varied diet. This week we are going to make some Trailmix Bites. Super healthy and nutritious but taste like treats 😋

Great Bakes - This week we are learning how to make bread dough. Such a quick and easy recipe too. There is nothing better than freshly baked bread and it is so much better for you than 'shop' bread which is full of unnecessary ingredients and heavily processed. We are also going to make some Coconut and Chocolate Flajacks.

Get Growing - We are going to grow our own strawberry plants, 🍓 as well as start off some Tomato and Basil Seeds learning about companion planting .

Epic Eats - our new term starts next week as we have a delayed start to the next term.

So excited to start our new sessions at Priory Park Pavilion tomorrow .

In our Mini Chefs we will be learning all about the importance of hygiene in the kitchen and making our very own Calzone Pizzas

Then onto Great Bakes, where we will be making Vanilla Cheesecake and Choc Chip Cookies.

I am looking forward to welcoming you all tomorrow.

Tonight was our final session of this term of Epic Eats at Priory Park Community School. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Well done to all of our Master Chefs !

This term we have made pizza and pizza sauce, creamy tomato sauce and garlic bread , soup and cheesey Soda Bread, sweet potato curry and roti style breads, lentil and feta salad and bean burgers and coleslaw .

Each term we make different recipes so there is always something new to make.

Our next term is already fully booked, but if you would like to join the waiting list, please send us a message.

Introducing a trial term of Home Education sessions called Mini Chefs!

As part of home learning, teaching your children to cook is fun, practical and enjoyable

Join our Mini Chefs Course to discover a wide range of recipes that let children take the lead in the kitchen. As part of the course, children will learn about essential hygiene in the kitchen, complete activities and complete a cooking task
