The Dunbar Christmas Lights team are delighted to present you with the itinerary for the spectacular switch-on event, Sunday 23rd Nov ‘25 from 2pm - 6:30pm.

14:20 Live music with The Motley, DGS Senior Band
14:45 Dance Performance with Dance Discovery
15:10 Street Ceilidh with the Armstrong Ceilidh Band
16:20 Belhaven Hill School Choir
16:40 Dalkeith & Monktonhall Brass Band
17:10 Dunbar Royal British Legion Pipe Band
17:35 Glady’s Chucklebutty Crowd Warmer
17:35 Brownies turn-on lanterns
17:45 Santa Claus arrives with Minister and guests
17:50 Minsters Welcome; Alastair Stark, Minister, Belhaven/ Spott Parish Church
18:00 Gladys Chucklebutty Count Down is Coming!
18:05 Guests Switch-on Lights
18:10 Live music with Thorne, DGS Senior Band
18:30 Close
Ecosse Entertainment will join us for the duration of the event.

Arrive early folks…. Don’t miss the big switch-on!

The event is FREE to all. However, we welcome donations to keep the lights shining bright. Every penny counts!

We ask all visitors to act responsibly to ensure a safe event for all.
Dogs must be kept on a leash.

🌞Good morning, Dunbar🌞
Our wee shop at 10 High Street is still doing its regular thing (beside selling/giving away the last remnants of the Craft Centre), selling beautiful and unique pieces, made by crafters and artists in the Lothians and Borders.
Our longstanding potter and artist Laura Abbott has brought a new selection of her sought after pieces to the shop this week.
Choose from small or larger bowls, vases, beakers, mugs, jugs and more.
Be quick if you would like to own one of her beautiful pieces.
Our opening times are
Mon-Tue 10am-4.30pm
Wed closed
Thu-Fri 10am-4.30pm
Sat 10am-3pm
Sun closed

You will be aware that we closed the doors of Dunbar Craft Centre a few weeks ago. Although we were able to pass on many things to local schools, nurseries, playgroups and other community groups, we still have an awful lot left, including two shelves packed with books. Do come and have a browse. There are treasures to be had. ❤️
