I’ve been absolutely useless recently posting on social media - mainly because I always forget to take photos of my wedding flowers so have to wait for the professional shots. I now have a bit of a backlog! Thank you Chloe for sending me this picture of your May bouquet.

Flower Club Friday
This month’s Flower Club bouquets are going out in shades of blue and white with the occasional pop of coral peony. Anemones, stocks, delphiniums, alliums, sweet rocket, orlaya, ornithogalum and cornflower to name but a few…. all British grown, many locally grown by

Hello, I’m Natalie, the organiser of Village Green Makers Market.

You may have come across my homewares and lifestyle shop, Village Green Home

When launching the shop in 2020, I wanted to showcase the incredible talent and skilled craftsmanship of the artisans I’d discovered in East Lothian and beyond, and the Makers Market is a natural evolution of this.

In chatting with suppliers over the last few years, it became clear that there was a gap for an artisan market that celebrated the work of the many creatives who live and work here, while offering a platform for small businesses to make connections and be seen more widely.

I’m so delighted to introduce the first Village Green Makers Market, which is being held at The Strawberry Barn, just outside Dunbar in East Lothian, on Sunday 12 June from 11am to 4pm.
