We’re loving the change in the seasons 🍂 And we’re loving using seasonal foliage and dried hydrangeas to create beautiful and bespoke door wreaths.

These start from £60 and are available for collection or delivery within 20 miles of the shop.

We’ve got a wee break planned for October school holidays. 🎃 The shop will be closed from 3pm Saturday 10th October and will reopen on Tuesday 20th. Our website will be open for orders on available dates while we’re away.

HOUSE PLANT CARE 🌱🌵

As we come to the end of the September it’s a great time to give your house plants a bit of TLC before they go into their dormant winter phase…

• Give one last feed: Pause all plant food and general liquid fertiliser during October - March, as plants enter a period of rest and do not need extra nutrients.

• Prune and clean: Snip away any yellowing, dead or damaged leaves to redirect the plant’s energy and deter pests.

• Water less often: Cooler temperatures and weaker sun mean soil dries out much slower. Let the top 1 to 2 inches of soil dry out completely before watering again.

• Watch the temperature: Keep plants away from direct blasts of hot central heating radiators and move plants away from drafty windowsills or areas prone to sharp temperature drops at night. If your home is dry then your plants may like more humidity through a light misting.

Four months. One little flower shop. So much to be grateful for. And so much more to come 🌿💐
Where has the time gone?! I’ve been a little quiet over here on social media while navigating the school holidays, finding my feet and getting into the rhythm of shop life - but I’m thoroughly enjoying it!

One of the greatest privileges has been creating flowers to help you mark life’s special moments. From birthdays, anniversaries and new arrivals, to saying goodbye, and of course, celebrating your weddings.

It’s been wonderful meeting so many lovely customers, both old and new, and being trusted to be a small part of so many important moments. Thank you.

As the seasons begin to change, I’m busy behind the scenes planning some lovely seasonal workshops. 🍂✂️ Keep an eye out for a post later this week with details on how to sign up.

Summer break 🌿
I’m taking a short break to enjoy some summer time with the family.

As a parent of two this time of year always feels extra hectic!! I can’t believe that we’re so close to summer holidays - it fills me with joy at the thought of slowing down with the kids… and the fear of how we’re going to manage the juggle in almost equal measure.
