Open plan doesn’t have to mean nowhere to hide.

One of the biggest challenges with open plan workplaces is giving people somewhere to step away, have a quick conversation or simply concentrate without needing another meeting room.

High backed seating and acoustic furniture can create those smaller spaces within a larger workplace, without building walls or making permanent changes to the space.

It’s something we’re seeing more and more in the workplaces we’re helping to plan.

If you’re looking at making better use of your existing office space, we can help with everything from space planning and furniture selection through to delivery and installation.

Tonight’s the night!

Back in June, the Spaces Taylored team had the privilege of being part of an incredible DIY SOS

Tonight, we finally get to see it all come together on BBC One!

We’re incredibly proud to have played our small part alongside so many brilliant trades, suppliers and volunteers who gave their time, skills and support to create something very special for this family.

We’re delighted to finally share some exciting news.

Spaces Taylored has been named a Family Business Finalist at The Courier Business Awards 2026.

This recognition feels particularly special to us.

From being recognised as a Young Business finalist, to going on to win Small Business of the Year, and now returning as a finalist in the Family Business category, it’s another milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

From our base in Dundee, Spaces Taylored has grown into a commercial furniture business working with organisations across Scotland and the UK. We help create better workplace, education and hospitality spaces, supporting our clients with everything from design and space planning to furniture specification, supply and installation.

The business has grown considerably along the way, but we remain a family business at heart, supported by a fantastic team and strong relationships with our clients, manufacturers and suppliers.

We’re incredibly proud to see that journey recognised and to be shortlisted alongside some fantastic family businesses from across the region.

Thank you to our team, our clients, our suppliers and everyone who continues to support Spaces Taylored.
