Sew Confident Dundee Sewing Tuition in Dundee! At Sew Confident Dundee we teach a range of sewing and craft classes for all abilities. We also consume quite a lot of tea!

Classes are designed to build confidence and teach sewing skills in bite size sessions. We pride ourselves on providing a fun and friendly learning environment with a big emphasis on the social side of sewing. What are you doing the weekend of 5th & 6th December?🎄✨

The correct answer is… coming along to our BIG CRAFTY WEEKEND! Think a whole weekend of festive crafting, gorgeous things to make and even lovelier things to take home… and not a sewing machine in sight!

We’re talking needle felting, velvet garlands, pinecone fabric origami baubles, macramé decorations, rag wreaths and hand-sewn tapestry decorations. Basically, all the crafty Christmas goodness! 🎅✨

Whether you fancy booking one workshop, doubling up on the crafty fun or staying for the whole day, the choice is yours!

It’s going to be a lovely, chilled weekend of making, chatting and getting into the festive spirit — the perfect excuse to take a little time for yourself before the Christmas chaos begins. ❤️

A little change to our opening hours! 🧵

Just a heads-up that we're now into the Dundee school holidays, so our usual studio opening hours will be a little different over the next two weeks.

If you need to pop in, you absolutely still can! Just drop us a message and we'll arrange a suitable appointment.

📦 Website orders: Any orders placed next week from Monday 19th will be posted the following Monday 26th. PDF patterns and sewing machine orders can still be placed as normal, so you can keep those projects coming!

🧵 Classes: All our timetabled classes will run as normal, so no changes to your sewing and crafting plans!

Getting in early so you can actually make some time in your diary for Christmas crafting! 🎄

We’ve got our festive classes ready to book, so here’s a little look at what’s coming up over the next couple of months. 🧵✂️✨

We will kick off as usual at the very end of November with our ever popular Wreath Making classes and then it's all go on the Christmas Class front for the next couple of weeks.

If you fancy making a proper day (or weekend!) of it, we’ve also got our Crafty Weekender on 5th & 6th December. You can pick and choose from the different projects throughout the weekend, or, if you’re feeling particularly festive, have a go at them all! 😂 The best bit? No sewing machines required for any of these projects. Just come along, get crafty, enjoy some festive chat and make some pretty things to take home. 🎄❤️

So whether you’re a “Christmas sorted by October” person or a “where did December go?!” person… there’s plenty of crafting to keep you busy! 😉

We’d love to keep them all for ourselves… but thought it might be nicer to share 🫣😂

Our ever-growing denim collection has some seriously gorgeous new arrivals and we are OBSESSED!

✨ Gold & black jacquards with the loveliest shimmer — think nights out, getting super organised for the festive season… or simply sparkling your way through the school run 😅 Why not?!?

🖤 Another denim stripe that is just begging to become a stylish pair of barrel-leg jeans… or maybe a Ferry Tote?

🐆 And that animal denim?! We’re thinking a little Frida shirt or perhaps a Sid bomber. So many possibilities!

Ever fancied making your own clothes? 🧵✂️

Our Make Your Own Clothes Weekender is all about getting stuck into dressmaking, learning new skills and having a whole weekend to focus on sewing (without the usual distractions! 😂).

Whether you've never made a garment before or you've already got a few under your belt, these weekends are designed to help you build your confidence and tackle projects at your own pace.

From understanding patterns and fitting to picking up new techniques and figuring out those tricky bits, Laura will be on hand to guide you along the way.

You can choose a pattern that suits your skill level, work on something you've been wanting to make for ages and, of course, enjoy plenty of sewing chat along the way! ☕🧵

It's a lovely way to spend a weekend doing something for yourself, meeting other dressmakers and hopefully heading home with a handmade garment you're chuffed with! ❤️

Our Christmas classes are LIVE and ready to book! 🎅🧵

We know lots of you are already in full festive crafting mode, because our wreath-making classes are filling up fast and we've already got one SOLD OUT crochet class! 😱

There's only a couple more festive classes to add before the timetable is complete, so if you're one of those organised people who likes to get Christmas sorted early, then go have a nosey and get yourself booked in! 🎄✂️
