Studio 47 - Jay Rubinstein creates mobiles inspired by poems, songs, or fragments of folklore — a line of verse, a fleeting image, or a remembered rhythm. Translating these ideas into three-dimensional form, gives each work a sense of narrative depth that unfolds through motion. As the viewer moves around the piece, new relationships appear between its elements: shapes align and separate, shadows overlap, and meanings shift.

You'll find his studio in Dundrennan, on our Spring Fling Pink Route.

Please help! I've been experimenting with different hanging formations - intended to suggest water. So the question is, which is better?

Thanks!!

Edit:
Thanks to everyone for their responses. It's clear that the top one is favourite. So I've gone with that one. I've done some further work on it so I'll post up a video in the next few days.
