I love each floor in our home. Each one has a story, a feel, a lived in scuff and mark. Never striving for perfection the goal is always imperfection, every time

Meet the middle room. An overflow from the library of books. Big sofas to just stop. No tvs just books andwindow seats sofas and single seating, lamps at least 7 and our beautiful Mallorcas hand made wicker lampshades plus the mallorcan monastery door table. Blending our story of where we’ve been throwing some random art and it’s a room to be in. It’s also be you experience as you walk through the house so is a wonderful space, cooler and also darker than the rest of the rooms in winter is a snuggle fire n and in summer a cool refreshing room to be in.

Work in progress or done would say s**te, to us it’s gloriously imperfect sustainable only cost us time and like our home will never be perfect.

The ever going on bothy project

Oh and the person who reported us for being a bed and breakfast when our five kids came
To stay can F off we aren’t renting this out and stick your nose elsewhere

So back to the bothy
It’s been going on for 6 years
We call it the money pit

Previous owners uses it as a sales office
Anyway
For us will be a chill out workspace

Watch for the next 6 years to see if we ever finish it
