Crochet in the Glen Hi, I’m Sara and I love to crochet. I live in the heart of Scotland and I’m always inspired by the beautiful Scottish landscape.

My crochet creations are modelled by my husband Sean, in his own unique style. I moved to Scotland over three years ago from the busy south of England to escape the rat race. My children had all grown up and I wanted find a different way to live. I started a vegan Bed and Breakfast on the west coast of Scotland with my husband and taught myself to crochet. I have made so many crochet items for fam

ily and they all kept telling me I should sell my items online. So that’s how Crochet in the Glen was born.

I crocheted this pretty scarf with one ball of Head Over Heels yarn from Stylecraft Yarns. It’s a sparkly 4ply sock yarn (73% wool) which also works very well for lightweight shawls and scarves.

I used just one ball in shade Deck the Halls.

Pattern is the Pink Riff Scarf by Anniedesign It’s a lovely relaxing 2 row repeat and makes a pretty lightweight scarf. Do take a look at all her lovely scarf and shawl patterns as a lot of them just use one skein.

With a project list longer than my life expectancy, I often wonder where all the time goes? But then I look back through my camera roll which is full of past projects and how I enjoyed making each one 😍😃🌈🩷 Hope you all having a good week.

COLOUR MAKES ME HAPPY😃😃😃. This is the reason I crochet because I can create with colours, it’s like painting with yarn 😃😃🌈🌈
