One of my favourite shawl patterns, the Virus Shawl. I made this one in a sparkly gradient yarn from Hobbii, which I had in my stash.
This pattern is available online for free, there is a good tutorial on YouTube by Bella Coco Crochet

There will be yarn packs available from Wool Warehouse This coat was such a joy to make, each Joseph Coat will be unique as Lagoon works it’s colour magic 🌈💕🌈

January is the month for finishing some of those projects I’ve carried over from 2025.

Hexa Flora jacket - I’m using the Hexa Flora blanket pattern by Cornwall Crochet to try and make a jacket. It’s been stuck on sleeve island for months!

Sunburst square cardigan using King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier Bramble and Cherished.

The Enchanted Coast Wrap designed by Coastal Crochet.

The 6 day Star Shawl by Betty McKnit made in King Cole Firefly.

And lastly the first finish of 2026, a wide scarf/wrap in beautiful blue ripples using Scheepjes Kindsome yarn.

Sean is modelling the Brighten your Day neck warmer designed by Chroma Crochet.
I really enjoyed pattern testing this design. A great way to use up small amounts of yarn and the colour combinations are endless. There’s also a matching beanie pattern and fingerless gloves so you can make the whole set. A great idea for Christmas gifts.

A fabulous weekend in Skipton for Yarndale The sun shone every day.
Yarn was squished and admired, and we met up with insta friends IRL. We chatted to so many vendors, and came home exhausted! On the way home my suitcase was fuller than when I arrived ( how could I resist buying some hand dyed yarn !)
The best thing about Yarndale is connecting with yarn friends and supporting indie businesses.
