Community Litter Pick this afternoon as part of the County Durham Big Spring Clean we collected 11 bags of litter, Thank you to the county councillors and parish councillors and members of the community who helped.

Tonight, I had the absolute pleasure to be invited to meet up with the WI craft group, who for the last year have worked extremely hard to produce a community banner, commissioned by the Parish Council
The banner was presented to myself as Chair of FMPC and will take pride of place hanging in our Pavilion building
I am so proud to receive the banner and wish to place on record my absolute gratitude for all the hard work and time gifted freely, from all those members of the WI involved in this project

I'm so glad for this business within our parish, that the facts of the issue affecting them recently have now been resolved

Important Notice:

As some of you may be aware we had a food rating hygiene cerificate published.

The day of the inspection, sadly the owners and 2 senior managers were not at the business and were away out of the country dealing with a family emergency.

The inspection rating was poor due to a lack of understanding of the staff present on the day of what information the inspector required.

Since then we have had a subsequent visit from the inspectors - please see attached report.

Everything is now in place and the inspectors are very happy with what they see and the processes we follow.

Be rest assured that we always aim to achieve the highest standards when running our restaurant - our customers come first.
