Honestly, does it feel like Autumn ? 🍂

It’s 21st August, so technically we’re still in summer, but I suddenly got that first proper “oooh, there’s a chill in the air” this morning.

The days are already getting noticeably shorter, and the sun is lower than it was a few weeks ago.

I certainly reached for a cardigan in this morning before I left the house 🥶 …Autumn has entered the chat. 🤣

I actually love that first hint of autumn though, crisp mornings, cosy evenings, candles on, blankets out… although I’m absolutely not ready for dark mornings AND dark evenings yet! 😂🍁

Friday feels a little different, doesn’t it? 🤍

There’s something about reaching the end of the week that makes you stop and think about how much you’ve actually fitted into the last five days.

The work. The life admin. The unexpected stuff. The things that didn’t go to plan. The little wins that probably felt insignificant at the time.

And yet… here we are. We made it. 😂

I’m trying to get better at not waiting for some imaginary point where everything is perfect before I enjoy my life.

Enjoy the coffee.
Enjoy the plans.
Enjoy the people.
Enjoy the quiet moments.
Celebrate the tiny wins.

Because life isn’t happening once everything is sorted.
