One minute we were basking in glorious Bank Holiday and half-term sunshine... the next, Durham seems to have skipped straight back to autumn! ☔😅

If you're looking out the window wondering where summer disappeared to, you're definitely not alone. But don't pack away the sunglasses just yet... summer is loading ⏳☀️

In the meantime, our workshop is full of handcrafted treasures waiting to brighten up even the rainiest day. From unique wooden gifts to one-of-a-kind pieces made with care by our amazing volunteers, there's plenty to find. 🪵❤️

You'll also find us out and about at various craft fairs over the coming weeks! Come and say hello, have a browse, and support a project that helps make a real difference to people's wellbeing. 😊

Until the sunshine makes its grand return, we'll be keeping busy in the workshop, creating beautiful things and pretending we don't need the heating back on! 😂

Our brand new camper van key holders have rolled into the workshop, and we’re a little bit in love. 😍

Handcrafted in wood and mounted on a plaque with 3 handy key hooks, they’re a lovely little gift for camper van lovers, adventurers, or anyone who’s forever asking, “Has anyone seen the keys?” 👀

New on the workbench… and now ready for your kitchen! 🪵✨

Each board is made right here in our workshop by our brilliant woodwork volunteers using reclaimed wood where possible. Every piece is a little bit different, full of character, and made with plenty of care (and a fair bit of sanding!).

They’re £15 each, and every purchase helps support the wellbeing work of St Margaret’s Centre.

🎉 We’re back! 🎉

After a lovely little Christmas break, the workshop is officially open again and we’ve hit the ground running with this gorgeous new chopping board!

Handcrafted by our brilliant volunteers using four types of beautiful hardwood, finished with food-safe tung oil, and measuring a generous 30cm x 40cm, it’s the perfect mix of practical and pretty. Yours for just £15.
