A simple, understated pen turned from Mun Ebony wood. This is one of those woods that looks different every time the light catches it.

Finished with a black Semplicità nib section, a bi-colour size 5 Bock nib, and our Emerald Elm logo set into the end of the cap.

The warmth of the reddish pink hues that can be found in tulipwood makes this pen an absolute joy to look at from every angle.

Featuring a pink ivory wood centre band and nib section to enhance the tulipwoods grain even further and a beautiful rose gold size 5 medium Bock nib is the icing on the cake 🧁

This one of a kind fountain pen showcases the natural beauty of Black Poisonwood. The live edge cap preserves the raw form of the timber, while the natural voids have been filled with resin to stabilize and showcase every detail.

Paired with a Camel Thorn nib section and fitted with a No. 5 medium bi-colour Bock nib, this piece is built to be as enjoyable to write with as it is to admire.

A celebration of rosewood…

This bespoke fountain pen brings together four remarkable species — Namibian rosewood, Bolivian rosewood, Honduran rosewood, and Indian rosewood — layered into a flowing geometric composition. Deep maroon accents of Italian semplicità provide contrast and warmth.

Finished with a #5 medium gold-plated Bock nib for a smooth, expressive writing experience.

End grain takes center stage on this one.

Handcrafted from laburnum with African Blackwood accents, this fountain pen uses an oystering technique to reveal the striking concentric rings hidden within the timber. Each section was sliced, oriented, and turned individually on the lathe to create a continuous flow of grain around the body and cap.

The cap features a live-edge end, framing our Emerald Elm logo, while the textured PLA nib section adds a tactile, comfortable feel in hand. Finished with a gold plated wide-shoulder medium size 5 Bock nib for a smooth, expressive writing experience.

A balance of natural texture, precision turning, and functional design.

A special commission with a story behind it.

This pen and stand were crafted from a piece of sapele wood that had been kept for years by my client’s dad—saved simply because he knew it was something beautiful. It’s an honour to turn that foresight into something lasting, functional, and personal.
