I'm really pleased with how this job turned out for local customer. The oak top had some water leak onto it from a flower display. The water reacts with the high levels of Tannins found in oak causing a chemical reaction and the black colour. In this case it had also caused the oak to split.

Whilst at the property I also refinished the kitchen island, table and book shelf. I refinish all of my customer projects with Odie's Oil, a food safe, all natural finish which nourishes the wood and provides high levels of protection.
