Everyone say hellooooo to 'Woody', my wonderful wooden model...who is actually a gorgeous wooden chopping board that I display as I've never had the heart to use it! 🤣

It's been in my kitchen looking cute for a while now, whilst I've given my other half the side eye every time he has jokingly threatened to actually use it 🤣

Who knew it would become the easiest to pose dog model for the cutest bandanas!? Certainly much easier than Rolo, just don't tell Rolo I said that 🤣🐕🐾

☀️🪡🌹🏝️ Hello! And welcome to Wight Island Rose! 🏝️🌹🪡☀️

Let me introduce myself! My name is Maria, or Mia for short, and I've lived in the beautiful Isle of Wight for my whole life ❤️

I was brought up on this wonderful isle largely with the influence and support of my truly amazing Grandparents, Mary and Arthur Marshall, who taught me to love the island around me, sail the sea, run through meadows, and have appreciation for the little beautiful things in life. 🥰

From a very young age my Grandma taught me to sew (as well as many other arts and crafts!) and this is something that I've recently wanted to surround myself with again. She has always been a pillar in my life, even now she has passed, and had influenced and supported me in being a nail artist for the last 9 years.

My other greatest influences other than the stunning island around me are my son, who is my absolute best friend and now scarily taller than me! and my wonderful supportive partner. Both of whom are my absolute reasons for everything! 🥰

This wonderful island, my family, it's people, flora and fauna, give amazing colour and vibrancy to life! And that is something I'd like to share with others through my creations ☺️🪡
