A nice job this week in East Malling. A teenage boys bedroom freshened up.
Quite alot of prep involved in this before painting. The wrong paint was used on the wardrobe doors and applied by brush with lots of brush marks and alot of big holes in the walls which needed gypsm patch repairs.
Dulux polished pebble on the main walls and the wardrobe doors. The feature wall is farrow & Ball 'downpipe' and all doors, frames, skirtings brilliant white. All paints used were johnstones trade. Aqua guard satin on all woodwork and wardrobe doors and cleanable matt on the walls

A job we completed in Wateringbury today at this lovely period property.
All paints used are Farrow & Ball exterior eggshell which was really nice to use. A great paint system for exterior works.
Reduced green and Pink ground were the colours of choice

Saturday filling and sanding and sunday painting. Customer needed her sons bedroom painted over the weekend. I hate work...

Saturday filling and sanding and sunday painting. Customer needed her sons bedroom painted over the weekend. I hate working weekends as I miss my kids football matches which i look forward to all week. But her son who is only 11 was the most polite boy ive ever met and kept the tea coming so I was happy to do it for him.

This is going to be a challenge.
A dark stained door I am stripping. I will be staining it in sikkens HLS basecoat in light oak tomorrow. It is a mahogany door so will be on the darker side but still need to get all the previous coatings off first
