Ten years ago, I took a chance on a dream… and today, Appletree Studio turns 10. 🎂
After nearly 20 years in the police, I decided to start something completely different. A pottery painting studio, a new chapter, and a business I hoped people would love.
Did I know whether it would work? Absolutely not.
I had no guarantees. But I knew I wanted to give it a go, and I didn’t want to look back one day and wish I’d tried.
Looking at this photograph now makes me quite emotional. So much has changed in ten years, but I can still remember what it felt like to be at the beginning of it all.
Since then, you’ve walked through our doors to celebrate birthdays, spend time with your families, catch up with friends and create something special. Some of the children who came in during those early days are now grown up. That really brings home how long we’ve been part of your lives.
To every customer who has booked a table, brought a friend, recommended us or come back year after year… thank you.
To my wonderful team, past and present, thank you for your care, hard work and everything you bring to the studio.
And to my family and friends, thank you for believing in me and supporting me through all the ups and downs of running a business.
Appletree wouldn’t be here without all of you.
