My first dress for Mimi… a fully reversible pinafore with spooky autumn fabric bought from Molly Felicity Designs on one side, and new Emma Ball fabric with cats on the other side. This was bought from Quorn Country Crafts ♥️ I learnt a lot making it, but love the result

Sewing group this week was the “make something new” session. So a few of us made the stand up sewing organiser from 5outof4.com Enjoyable make that wasn’t as tricky as it first appeared.

Today’s make is a wrist pincushion. It’s completely handsewn, using fabric scraps and vintage crochet thread. I’d do more by machine for neatness but it was a lovely lap based project. It’s perfect for using in my quilting sessions. What do you think? Is it something you would use?

Day 15 of the Liz Grec and Make Along 26. Slow and steady still to help my hands cope. Loving the pattern more than the yarn but it’s working as a stash buster. Pattern is the Moor House Socks.

Day 8 of Liz Grec and Make Along 26. I’m having to take it steady so my hands don’t get too sore, but the pattern has developed beautifully. There’s lace and cables at the front and a double moss stitch back ♥️ I’m still not sure about the yarn choice but it is working for socks that will have a plain leg but snazzy foot.

Liz Grec and Make Along 26. Day 2 and I’ve done two repeats of the pattern. Really enjoying this pattern but my hands are not enjoying the small needles - ouch 😩 The answer is little by little l, I’m not in a race and I’d really like to think I can still make the 4ply socks I love ❤️ I hope everyone else is enjoying their makes.

It’s the first of July so I’ve cast on my project for the Liz Grec Make A Long I’ve chosen the pattern Moor House socks from the great selection by Lucy at My first time of doing a twisted rib so wish me luck! Comment so I can follow you if you’re also doing this MAL 🥰
