The New Forest Fairy Festival has never been just an event.
It is a gathering of hearts, a celebration of wonder, and a community built on kindness, imagination, folklore, nature, and magic.
Every August, people travel from across the UK and around the world to be part of something truly special. Not because of what they see, but because of what they feel.
A sense of belonging.
A sense of joy.
A reminder that magic still exists.
Year after year, families return. Children who once arrived holding their parents’ hands now bring their own little fairies and elves to experience the wonder. Our loyal exhibitors return, our performers return, and many of our incredible team members have been by our side since the very beginning.
That is something rare.
That is something precious.
And it is something we never take for granted.
To every visitor, every volunteer, every performer, every exhibitor, every member of our fairy family—thank you. You have helped create a place where people can escape the noise of the world and reconnect with what truly matters: laughter, friendship, creativity, nature, and the magic that lives within us all.
As we welcome the energy of the Year of the Horse, we are reminded to move forward with humility, embrace positive change, and allow our creativity to soar. It is a year that encourages us to dream, to grow, and to gallop towards new adventures with an open heart.
🌿🦄 On the 8th and 9th of August, the New Forest will once again come alive with enchantment.
The fairies will gather.
The music will play.
The stories will be told.
