This is my latest 'thing', Bertie the Banana 🍌.

Made using the banana pattern from book Kawaii Crotchet.

Made using
Flutterby Chunky in the colours Lemon (B9)White (B1)

Now I loved the pattern don't get me wrong, I would however work on my tension before I attempted it again as it was a little holey in some places (down to me and not the pattern)

So here's another 'thing' I've finished, meet Afor the Aubergine. Named by my aunt, for whom it was a birthday gift which she really liked.

Made with Hobbii yarn (Honey Bunny range) and a free pattern also from HobbiiPlum (062)Shamrock (104)
And a 4.5mm hook

This monster stands at 20 inches tall instead of the 5 it was meant to be if I'd used cotton yarn πŸ˜‚

One thing I learned whilst making this guy is that genetically an aubergine is a fruit, or more specifically a Berry eventhough it is used as a vegetable during cooking.

So this is Simon Spud πŸ₯”

He was made from a paid pattern by (on Instagram) and what a delight it was to make, so simple and quick. I would definitely recommend it for someone wanting a simple but cute amigurumi to complete.

Made using Honey Bunny in Nougat (Colour 09) and a 3.5mm hook so my work wouldn't be full of holes.

Can't wait to make loads more of these little guys.

So I am still here, I haven't abandoned my account, I've been struggling to find content to post as I haven't made much lately

I started and finished one project which I shall be able to show in November as its a gift for someone.

Hint: it's a a fruit (as I learnt whilst making it) eventhoigh it's used as a vegetable during cooking

I will get back into posting more I just felt it would be better to post no content than lots of subpar content

Pregnancy loss awareness week
9th-16th October 2022

So some of you who know me in real life will understand why this is a very personal topic, and I felt I needed to make something for it.

The blue and pink wool denotes the colours used in the ribbons and obviously the wings are for those either born sleeping or those who were not carried to term.

The wings pattern is what I was working on late last night, including my German to American English to English translations, but it was worth it in the end

Be kind to people, you dont know what they are going through

πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘πŸ‘‘

A little late to the show but yesterday I decided to watch the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

Never again shall I watch TV for so long πŸ˜‚. It was amazing to see, even the pomp and ceremony bits that could be classed as unnecessary.

I decided to work on my pumpkins whilst watching it so I could at least say I'd gotten something done during all that time.

Is anyone else working on some fall/autumn crafts?

That's another order been collected today.

Still find it hard to believe people are willing to pay me to make them something

An octopus was the original order and I added a Non-Binary flag as a little extra for the recipient as it was bought as a gift to give.
