The past 14 days have been an absolute roller coaster.

Since the fire, we’ve been working around the clock to get back on our feet — and we’re proud to say we now have a new temporary premises:

We’re truly heartbroken to share that we have experienced a devastating fire at our premises.

As a family-run business, this is incredibly difficult, but we are so grateful to confirm that everyone is safe and no one was harmed. That is what matters most.

We want to say a huge thank you to our amazing local community, friends, family, local businesses for your support, kindness, and messages during this time — it truly means everything to us.

Floor Layer / Apprentice Required

MCP Carpets is a well-established family-run flooring business seeking a qualified floor layer or apprentice to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. Experience is preferred for floor layers, while apprentices must be eager to learn and have a strong work ethic.

Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence
• Valid CSCS card
